After years of experience in the security industry and being a part of several large security company consolidations, Katarzyna founded Priebe Security Services in order to provide customers with a quality alternative to big industry providers – a company that values individuals.
Katarzyna actively oversees all aspects of business operations and service delivery to the customer. Under her leadership, Priebe Security has established a considerable presence in the local market and has developed a reputation for quality service. Over the past 15 years the company has grown organically through word of mouth and client referrals.
Prior to founding Priebe Security, Katarzyna served as Vice President of Sales for United Building Security, Business Development Manager for Barton Protective Services, and Sales Manager for American Protective Services. Throughout her career, Katarzyna has gained significant experience in security operations and has developed proven leadership skills.

With an impressive career spanning more than 20 years, he has honed his expertise in driving operational excellence and spearheading sales initiatives that significantly contribute to our company’s growth and customer satisfaction.
In his role, as the overseer of all aspects of service delivery, Michael ensures that both our internal and external customers receive exceptional service. His leadership style is characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and continuous improvement. Michael’s approach involves deeply understanding the intricacies of service delivery and identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency enhancements. He believes in empowering his team, encouraging innovative thinking, and nurturing a collaborative environment that supports our employees’ personal and professional growth.

Kirby has over 20 years of operations management experience, spending the last seven years at Priebe Security where he serves as liaison to a portfolio of exceptional clients. He provides leadership and guidance to equip all of the Site Supervisors and Security Officers in his division with the necessary tools for success. Kirby’s objective is to build long-lasting employee and client relationships.
Derek has over 25 years of experience in the private security industry. He started his career with Priebe Security in 2020 as an Account Manager before moving into the Priebe Corporate office as a Field Service Manager supporting all aspects of the operation. Prior to moving into operations, Derek worked as a Business Development Manager for over 20 years for two of the largest security corporations in the world.
Derek’s primary objectives are to maintain Priebe Security’s current position as the provider of choice and the employer of choice in the Austin market. He will accomplish this by building strong client relationships and developing and growing the company’s pool of talented employees to become future leaders.

Mark comes to Priebe Security with an impressive 13-year career in the U.S. Army, including four years as a military officer. Mark’s experience includes administrative operations, intelligence analysis, leadership, and goal setting. Mark’s ability to problem solve and produce creative and productive solutions to employee issues has made him an invaluable asset.

Shawn brings with her over 40 years of Human Resources experience in multiple industries including hospitality, communications and retail. Having been responsible for multiple sites across the United States as a Regional / VP, she understands the critical importance of creating and maintaining a strong and vibrant company culture for employees; one which values the contributions of each individual for our long-term success. Shawn is a proud graduate of Southern Methodist University achieving Cum Laude with Departmental Distinction with a B.S. degree in Psychology.

Sylvia has over 18 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus in recruiting. As the Senior Staffing Manager, Sylvia takes the lead role in the hiring process. With a positive attitude that keeps people engaged, Sylvia excels at guiding candidates through the interview process and understands the importance of placing candidates where they are valued, supported by their teams, and meet the needs of each individual client.

After onboarding, Jayce assists employees in enrolling in company benefits and verifies the company is compliant in all aspects of record keeping. With an additional background in technology and broadcast media, Jayce hopes to bring a unique perspective to the present and future of Priebe Security.
